As the weather warms up, I’ve been busier than expected. A friend pointed me to the Miniature Tanks website recently. Much of their product line focuses on 3D printed military vehicles but there are several civilian versions. After setting the filters, I found a couple of vehicles for my 1926 layout.

A number of small companies and consortiums have been producing 3D printed freight cars over the last several years. Many of the models have reflected post-WW2 prototypes but that has started to change.

3D printed ventilated box car

I bought a pair of HO scale Chesapeake & Ohio 36-foot, double-sheathed ventilated box cars a few months ago. These are 3D printed models available from Yuma Car & Foundry (YC&F) through 3D Central.
