I’ve almost completed a special resin kit build and noticed I need a detail part. I’ve saved the extra parts from all the resin freight car kits I’ve built, so it was time to check the stash of extras. I’ve kept many extras organized in old kit boxes.

I’ve been moving a few models forward on the production line. A pair of Nickel Plate Road wood gondolas have been decaled. With momentum on my side, I was excited to decal a pair of Funaro & Camerlengo PRR GR gondolas next. They are in the lead image, all painted and ready for decals.

We tend not to share our failures, except among close friends and family. I’ve had my fair share of hobby project failures across a wide array. I avoided sharing the dismal results, mainly out of embarrassment. But I learned something new with each of those difficulties. I may have changed a technique or materials to move onward.
